Non Slip Resin Stair Paint (Treadgrip)

Treadgrip is a;two non slip stair paint kit containing a two part polyurethane paint and anti slip additive designed to create a durable, cost effective and DDA Compliant;non slip finish to stair treads.

One Treadgrip 5kg unit of non slip stair paint consisting of 1 x Resin, 1 x Activator and 1 x Non Slip Particles. Each unit covers up to 5m2 in one coat on a smooth surface such as good condition concrete.

1. Ensure the entire surface is clean, dry and free from contamination.
2. Mix both liquids in the larger container and apply within the pot life with a suitable roller or brush.
3. Scatter on the Vuba-Grip;additive whilst the non slip epoxy stair paint is still wet.
4. Back roller over the paint to seal in the non slip additive as much as possible. ;
5. Leave to non slip epoxy stair paint to cure 24hrs for foot traffic and 48 hrs for heavy duty traffic.

Special considerations for non slip stair paint:

The main consideration with this non slip stair paint kit is when to apply the anti slip additive. We recommend the anti slip is scattered on to the first coat of paint, and then sealed in using the second. However, for projects that only allow one coat it is possible to apply a coat of Vertiflex, scatter the additive and then back roller the anti slip into the paint.
