Walkgrip is non slip floor coating which combines Vuba-Coat Toughcoat, a two part solvent free epoxy floor coating, with a range of available non slip particles. Walkgrip is a long lasting non slip floor coating designed for commercial and industrial usage on slippery concrete floors. 

Unit Size & Coverage Rates

One unit of non slip floor coating contains a 5kg unit of Vuba-Coat Toughcoat, epoxy concrete floor paint and 1kg of non slip additive. Each unit covers up to 20m2 in two coats on a smooth surface such as good condition concrete, but can also be applied as one coat over 30m2 depending on the existing substrate type and condition.

1. Ensure surface is dry and free from contamination.;
2. Mix both parts into the larger container and apply immediately.
3. Apply within non slip floor coating pot life using good quality brushes and rollers.
4. Allow first non slip floor coating to cure overnight.
5. Apply second coat and leave to cure for 24 hours for light traffic and 48 for heavy traffic.

Special considerations for Walkgrip non slip floor coating:

Applying Walkgrip non slip floor coating;is essentialy the same as applying Original in terms of preparation, pot life and all of the other general considerations. However, you must take care;in the application of non;slip additive.;

The Vuba-Grip additive is to be thrown on to the first coat evenly and whilt the paint is still tacky. To ensure an even finish you should wear spiked shoes to give you full access and throw the additive akin to throwing chicken feed, being careful to not let one area become too saturated.

Contact us on the specified delivery date in your order confirmation. For most orders we will send a tracking number with the order confirmation.
