Vuba-Coat Single is a durable yet cost effective one pack floor paint This garage floor paint does not peel or flake under hot tyres when applied correctly unlike many other single part paints. This means you have the heavy duty benefits without the costs of a two part garage floor paint.

Unit Size & Coverage Rates

Each unit of garage floor paint is supplied in single part unit which simply needs to be agitated before use. Each 2.5 litre unit coats approximately 10m2 in two coats on a non porous, smooth surface.

Coverage rates are always dependent upon the porosity of the subfloor, ambient temperature and application technique.

Painting your garage floor:

1. Ensure concrete floor is dry and free from contamination. 
2. Stir in container provided and apply immediately.
3. Apply using good quality brushes and rollers to prevent shredding into the garage floor paint.
4. Allow first coating of to cure fully before applying the second coat within 48hrs.
5. Your paint should be touch dry after 4-6 hrs and suitable for light traffic after 24hrs. 

Special considerations for garage floor paints:

For garage floor paints it is important thtat the surface is prepared correctly and that enough time is allowed for drying of the garage floor paint. 

Often our garage floor paint is being applied to existing failed paints which are flaking and friable in many areas. You must ensure these are removed using a heavy duty floor scraper or grinder, and that the floor is cleaned using a degreaser or acid etcher as required. 

Garages rarely contain heating and are completely enclosed. The two main factors for the curing of Vuba-Coat Single is good air flow and temperature. Try to leave a window open or open the garage door when possible, and if there is heating available in the garage then turn it on.
