Vuba-Coat Duraflex is a specially advanced two part polyurethane floor tile paint capable of achieving exceptional bond strength;on to ceramic and quarry tiles. You can select our anti slip option to improve the slip resistance of your tiles also.

Unit Size;& Coverage Rates

Each unit of floor;tile paint;is supplied in two pre-weighed components which are mixed together to form a complete 4kg unit. Each unit coats up to 20m2 in two coats on a smooth surface, such as good condition powerfloat concrete. We always recommened two coats but for one coat applications you will achieve a coverage of up to 30m2.

Coverage rates are always dependent upon the porosity of the subfloor, ambient temperature and application technique.

1. Ensure surface is dry and free from contamination.;
2. Mix both parts into the larger container and apply immediately.
3. Apply within floor tile paint pot life using good quality brushes and rollers.
4. Allow first coating of floor tile paint to cure overnight.
5. Apply second coat and leave to cure for 24 hours for light traffic and 48 for heavy traffic.

Special Considerations for applying paint to tiles:
For application of floor tile paint on to tiles you must first prepare the tiles mechanically or chemically to remove the 'glaze' from the tiles and ensure there is a profile for the coating to 'key' in to. You can use;our acid etching preparation primer, Echantor, or use a variety of mechanical preparation techniques such as grinding, scabbling or shot blasting.
