What is Expansion Joint Sealant?
Vuba-Joint Rapiseal is a dual component polyurea self levelling sealant. This rapid curing;expansion joint sealant is rapid curing, flexible and very versatile - it can be used in extreme temperatures, indoor or out.;
How much sealant will I receive?
One 650ml unit of rapid curing;expansion joint sealant;comprising of two cartridges to be used in conjunction with our Double Headed Gun for a simple and easy 1:1 ratio application. This rapid curing expansion joint sealant fills up to 4m of joint @ 12mm x 12mm.
Concrete joint sealing:
1. Clean the area of debris and contamination of any kind.
2. Shake thoroughly before removing the cap and applying the static mixer.;
3. Using our Double Headed Gun discard a small amount of unmixed product.
4. Apply expansion joint sealant, overfilling slightly to ensure a full depth repair.;
5. Remove the static mixer before discarding a small amount of cured material.
6. The cartridge can be capped for later use. Expansion joint sealer will cure minutes later.;
7. Shave the cured sealant using one of our scrapers leaving a flush repair of the joint.
8. An optional final grind can be useful to remove any uneven edges created during application.
