What is Acid Etch Primer?
Etchanator is a dilute acid solution used as an alternative to mechanical preparation. Acid etch primer provides a porous and textured concrete surface, allowing primers and coatings to bond effectively.
How much primer will I receive?
One 5 Litre jerry can of acid etch primer. Coverage rate is approx. 35m2 for one application.
Applying acid etch primer:
1. Ensure surface is dry, free from contamination and degreased. Pre-mix 1:3 parts water.;
2. Apply acid etch primer evenly using a plastic or corrosion resistant metal watering can.
3. Leave on the surface for 20-30 minutes, or until the bubbling has stopped.
4. Wash the surface and vacuum thoroughly, neutralising residues before disposal.
5. Leave overnight or until fully dry before applying any subsequent coating or degreasing.
Delivery Time:
Delivery is 1-2 days on standard items. Custom and out of stock orders are typically delivered in 5 days.

Contact us on the specified delivery date in your order confirmation. For most orders we will send a tracking number with the order confirmation.
